Excessive hair loss is a challenge faced by many people and directly impacts the emotional state of men and women around the world. Brazil currently has about 42 million people affected by alopecia, also known as baldness, according to the Brazilian Society of Dermatology (SBD), with women making up 40% of the patients. Data from the 2022 Census of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery indicate that women represent 40% of the total number of people affected by the problem, which has increased by 10% in the last three years.

The large volume of hair falling in the bathroom drain and on the pillow are some of the reports heard by dermatologist Priscila Passamani in her office. “The patient arrives saying that she is losing a lot of hair in the shower and it even clogs the drain. In the first consultation, I always talk about the fact that the nature of hair is multifactorial, meaning it is influenced by a wide range of genetic and environmental factors that interact uniquely in each individual, such as genetics, ethnicity, hormones, overall health, and others. In the second moment, I address the lack or not of vitamins and the presence or absence of systemic diseases such as thyroid issues, anemia, and I already request blood tests,” explains the doctor.

Priscila emphasizes that she always requests complementary tests because hair loss can be caused by a variety of factors, some of which may not be immediately visible to the naked eye. “These tests provide a broader view of the health of the hair and scalp, helping to identify the underlying causes of the loss.”

According to the dermatologist, “after getting to know many existing brands in the market, today I prescribe the products from Royal Drop, which specializes in hair treatment, due to the visible increase in hair density within 90 days, in addition to the ease and dosage of the medication that can be administered safely and effectively.”

An example of success in treatment is the case of pedagogue Francis Ruas, who since 2017 has undergone several consultations with dermatologists to treat hair loss and did not know what else to do to combat the problem that left her discouraged. “I did all the tests that the doctors asked for, took prescribed formulas, and nothing made my hair stop falling. I even applied and took products recommended by bloggers in an attempt to solve it,” she reports.

To this day, Francis still does not have a definitive medical diagnosis regarding her problem. However, after so much searching for a solution, the pedagogue decided to use Royal Drop products, recommended by a friend, and found the effective result she was looking for. “I started applying the hair tonic and using the shampoo, and today I am living a new moment. My hair has become fuller and the bald spots have significantly disappeared. I am very happy and satisfied with the result achieved,” said Francis.

In the view of the Espírito Santo entrepreneur and founder of the brand that has been prescribed by several doctors, Celina Lievori, “hair is a fundamental part of personal identity, and its state can profoundly influence how someone feels about themselves and how they are perceived by the world around them. I believe that when someone is satisfied with the appearance of their hair, they can have self-confidence and self-acceptance. I felt this pain in people and started a search for some formula that could help with hair loss. We conducted extensive research with the dedication of our pharmacist, Liliany Zampiroli, until we reached our products that contain natural and vegan ingredients.”
