Santander Track&Field Run Series holds stage at Shopping Praia da Costa

  The race takes place on September 3rd and is expected to gather over 1,000 athletes   For the first time in Vila Velha, the largest street running circuit in Latin America by number of events, the Santander Track&Field Run Series, will hold its stage at Shopping Praia da Costa on September 3rd. With an exclusive route along the beachfront of Praia da Costa, one of the most iconic settings in Vila Velha, the race is scheduled to start at 6:15 AM and 6:30 AM, with distances of 4km and 8km, both in front of the shopping center entrance on Rua Curitiba, in addition to the Kids category for children aged 4 to 11. Registrations can be made until September 2nd via the TFSports app – a platform that integrates Track&Field's events and wellness experiences, and kit collection will take place between August 31st and September 2nd, from 10 AM to 10 PM, at the Track&Field store on the L2 floor of Shopping Praia da Costa. All registered runners will receive an exclusive kit with a personalized Thermodry t-shirt and Gym Bag. The event will kick off at 6 AM, featuring various attractions for runners, including live musical performances. According to Marcus Aguiar, the marketing manager of Shopping Praia da Costa, hosting a stage of one of the most traditional races in the country is a privilege. “For us at Shopping Praia da Costa, it is a privilege to host a stage of one of the most important races on the Brazilian calendar. We are sure it will be a success,” he emphasizes. The Track&Field Run Series is the largest street running circuit in Latin America by number of events. For 18 years, it has been part of the calendar for runners across Brazil, gathering over 150,000 athletes annually across approximately 80 stages held throughout the country. Since 2018, Santander has held the naming rights for the circuit, which is also sponsored by Amni, 3 Corações, and Minalba. The project is managed by TFSports – a platform that integrates Track&Field's events and wellness experiences – which organizes an average of a thousand events per year across the country. The app has over 300,000 users and 3,000 registered coaches in around 30 different sports modalities. Since 2022, several initiatives have been implemented to make the circuit more sustainable and will continue in action for 2023.
