FORMEMUS 2023 already has a date and the Showcase registration deadline is tomorrow

Formemus 2023, known for being one of the main stages for the blossoming of talents in the new and vibrant Brazilian authorial music, already has a date to take place: from August 30 to September 2. Everyone is invited to this one of the 80 largest music conferences in the world.

The registrations for the Showcase, which are short performances, go until July 5, next Wednesday. A total of 10 artists will be selected to showcase their work on the Formemus stage. Calls for the Music Video Showcase and the Photography Showcase are also open.

Winner of the Profissionais da Música Award in 2021, in the Music Conferences category, Formemus promises to bring a series of stimulating connections and a flood of new musical products for various market players in 2023, which will be announced soon. Showcases are short-duration performances for a specialized audience, composed of curators and players from the national market, as well as the general public. They offer a unique opportunity for artists or groups to showcase their work to those who can make a significant difference in their careers. A total of 9 artists/groups from all over Brazil will be selected. One showcase has already been pre-selected by the mentors of Formemus Lab, which took place between March and May in Vitória. The selected artist was Kael Stn, totaling 10 performances.

The selected music videos will be presented during the event's programming, giving participants the chance to showcase their creative work beyond music. Through popular voting, a winner will be chosen who will receive a prize of R$ 1,000.00. Up to 20 music videos of authorial songs will be selected.

This is a call for photographers to showcase their ability to capture the energy and passion of live shows. Concerts are a vital part of the music industry, and photographs of these events can capture unforgettable moments and the essence of a performance. Up to 20 photos will be selected, with the theme "Shows on stages in Brazil." The selected photos will be exhibited throughout the event in a competitive showcase, where there will be popular voting to determine the winner, with a prize of R$ 500.00.
