The Master of Comedy takes place from May 19 to 21, featuring São Paulo's Oscar Filho, one of the pioneers of the stand-up comedy movement in Brazil.
Irreverence, sarcasm, and lots of humor. This is how the Master of Comedy promises to be, a stand-up comedy show that gains space at Shopping Mestre Álvaro in Serra. The event's programming is entirely free and will feature performances by six great names in Capixaba humor, such as Haeckel Ferreira, who will take turns on stage on Friday (19) and Saturday (20), starting at 8 PM. On Sunday, it will be the turn of the national attraction, one of the pioneers of stand-up comedy in Brazil, Oscar Filho, to present his show “Alto - Unauthorized Biography,” also starting at 8 PM.
A former participant of one of the most popular humor shows in recent times, CQC, Oscar Filho presents the show in which, with the striking and hilarious narration of Cid Moreira, he reveals several misadventures experienced throughout his life. When asked about his expectations for the event, he said he is excited and has already started making jokes about the name of the state and its geographical location. “I will love returning to Espírito Santo. I love the state and the name too. The fact that Espírito Santo is located where it is on the map makes me believe that they should change the name of Tocantins to 'Father' and the name of São Paulo to 'Son.' Amen!” he jokes.
Themes such as relationships, family, career, famous impersonations, and everyday experiences will not be left out of the funny stories told by the comedians Haeckel Ferreira, who has worked as a contributing writer and actor/comedian on the now-defunct Tom Cavalcante show, Klebson Carrera, Diogo Rosa, Guilherme Lud, and Bruno Abreu, the representatives of Capixaba stand-up comedy, who will lead the other days of the event. The stage will be located at the Patio of Shopping Mestre Álvaro, L3, with free entry and a recommended age of 16 years.
The marketing manager of the enterprise, Amanda Duque, explains the idea behind the event. “Our intention is to offer the public a comedy show built from observations of people's daily lives. This group has the art of captivating laughter and promises to entertain with the best of stand-up comedy here in Serra,” she highlights.

Meet the comedians:
Oscar Filho
Oscar Filho is recognized as one of the pioneers of the stand-up comedy movement in Brazil in 2005 as co-founder of the Clube da Comédia Stand-up, responsible for the initial movement in São Paulo. In 2008, he debuted his solo stand-up show, "Putz Grill..." which ran for 11 years.
In 2020, he premiered his second solo stand-up called "Alto - Unauthorized Biography" based on the book he wrote in 2014, "Unauthorized Autobiography." In June 2022, he released "Putz Grill... The Album" through Cancel Records, a comedy album available on all audio platforms.
Haeckel Ferreira
Communicator, cartoonist, actor, and professional comedian for over 10 years. He worked as a contributing writer and actor/comedian on the now-defunct Tom Cavalcante show. He has worked on various TV programs in Espírito Santo and is considered one of the main names in Capixaba humor.
Guilherme Lud
Comedian and Stand-up Comedy producer. With great knowledge of Chaves and Chapolin, he believes that good people should love their enemies and that revenge is never complete; it kills the soul and poisons it.
Klebson Carrera
Klebson Carrera, 30 years old, has been performing as a comedian for 4 years. He has had the opportunity to open shows for several national comedians such as Yuri Marçal, who has a special on Netflix. A member of Espírito Comédia, he became known as Klebson Faro for having a segment aimed at uniting couples.
Diogo Rosa
Diogo Rosa has always loved comedy. Movies by Jim Carrey, Eddie Murphy, Os Trapalhões, and Chaplin shaped his comedic vein. As a child, he was always the "class clown" and took it so seriously that today he brings to life the character Palhaço Xico Xeroso, which he performs at children's events. He believes in humor and joy as channels of good energy and enhancers for life. In addition to being a comedian, Diogo is an actor, director, teacher, and screenwriter.
Bruno Abreu
A comedian born in Minas Gerais and having lived his whole life in Espírito Santo, he is almost the place he lives, a state border. His humor is a true moqueca of pão queijo.
